The ro-ro cargo ship TRINIDAD 1 was reported to be disabled by fire on December 13 while sailing to the port of Puerto Eden in southern Chile’s fjords. The crew put out the fire, and the ship was towed to the nearest port. The status and condition of TRINIDAD 1 as of 1330 UTC December 15 are unknown As the ship’s AIS has been off since the collision.
