After parts of the Titan ship were found near the wreck of the Titanic off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada, on June 22, the US Coast Guard said that the Titan ship had “catastrophically imploded.”

Since then, there have been a lot of simulations that try to answer some questions. One video in particular has taken the internet by storm, getting almost 10 million views in less than two weeks after it was posted on YouTube.

The short clip, which is just a little over six minutes long, has gone popular because it tells people more about what’s going on.

The channel AiTelly put the video on YouTube 13 days ago, on June 30. It is called “Implosion Titan Oceangate.” How It How it Happened.”

The ship lost touch with its mothership for the first time on June 18, before the “catastrophic implosion” that killed all five people on board.

OceanGate CEO and co-founder Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, French diver and Titanic expert Paul-Henry Nargeolet, and father and son Shahzada and Suleman Dawood have all been named as these passengers.

The YouTube video’s summary says, “In the case of the Titan Submersible, the implosion was caused by the very high hydrostatic pressure of the water around it. This happened in a fraction of a millisecond, as shown in the animation.”
