Royal Caribbean International’s Wonder of the Seas, the world’s newest wonder, arrived in the United States on the 20th of this month, ahead of its official premiere on March 4, 2022, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Vacationers of all ages can expect a mix of fresh experiences and old favorites throughout eight distinct neighborhoods.
The Suite Neighborhood is the ship’s eighth neighborhood, a first for Royal Caribbean; The Mason Jar, a new southern restaurant and bar serving southern staples and creative twists on classics for brunch, dinner, and late night; and Wonder Playscape, a brand-new interactive outdoor play area. Signature attractions include The Ultimate Abyss, the world’s largest slide at sea; the FlowRider surf simulator; rock-climbing walls; and the Central Park neighborhood, which is bordered with more than 20,000 live plants.
In May 2022, the ultimate vacation will set sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on 7-night cruises to the Caribbean and Royal Caribbean’s private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, before heading to Barcelona, Spain, and Rome to kick off summer vacations in the Mediterranean. From its year-round home in Port Canaveral, Florida, Wonder returns in November to explore the exotic coasts of the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
