The 2007-built MOL Charisma ran aground on 5 July evening while sailing from Vung Tau to Singapore, according to Ocean Network Express (ONE). The vessel was successfully refloated on the morning of July 6th, according to the container line. The incident resulted in no injuries or an oil leak.

On ONE’s East Coast 5 Service, the MOL Charisma is stationed.
In a client alert, ONE stated, “We are now waiting for the vessel owner’s evaluation of the vessel’s condition and will advise further regarding her timetable and cargo arrangements as additional information is available.”

The MOL Charisma was caught in a cargo fire off the coast of Sri Lanka in September of last year.
